90+3min: FULL TIME!
90+2min: Alonso catches an elbow, accidental, from Mooy.
90+1min: CH-O creates for himself, but misses the frame of the goal.
90min: Three minutes added on.
85min: GOAL!! CHELSEA! David Luiz makes it five from the corner. Massive deflection but the header was technically on target. 5-0 CHELSEA!
83min: Loftus-Cheek on for Kanté as the two teams look content to play out the last few minutes. Pritchard on for the danger-man Diakhaby.
77min: Hudson-Odoi on for Hazard
76min: Chelsea play the corner short and Barkley bamboozles his defender, seemingly winning a penalty. No call.
75min: Alonso finds Higuaín for a first-time finish, but a crucial block from Schindler prevents the hat-trick.
71min: Hazard passes up his hat-trick and plays it square for Barkley, who wasn’t there.
70min: Kovačić on for Jorginho.
69min: GOAL!! CHELSEA! Higuaín finds himself outside the box but no problem as he hammers it into the back of the net from a Kanté layoff. 4-0 CHELSEA!!
68min: Billing is replaced by Grant for the visitors, and he wins them a corner in his first action. Mounié gets a head to it, but it’s weak and Kepa gathers on the bounce.
66min: GOAL!! CHELSEA!! Barkley’s three minutes of greatness continues, this time finding Hazard, who makes no mistake this time in beating his man, sitting the goalkeeper down, and finishing with aplomb from an acute angle. 3-0 CHELSEA!
65min: Barkley wins the ball in the middle and drives forward himself this time. His left-footed shot is well wide however.
64min: Barkley finds Hazard wide left, he drives into the box, beats two and lays a perfect ball across the six-yard area. No one there to tap it home. Azpilicueta then crosses from the right, but again no one there!
60min: Jorginho intercepts and gets Chelsea going forward, before Smith grabs Hazard again. Still no yellow. Chelsea hitting a bit of a lull here however...
55min: Huddersfield get a chance to counter, but Christensen wins the footrace against Kachunga and clears. Kachunga claims penalty ... was close? Chelsea turn upfield and win a corner meanwhile, but Huddersfield halfway clear, then David Luiz commits a foul to complete the clearance.
54min: Billing has a go from 30 yards. Kepa wakes from his slumber to produce a comfortable save.
50min: Hazard makes fools of half the Huddersfield team before shots from Barkley and Alonso are blocked. Chelsea maintain possession.
48min: Chelsea looking for that third goal. Willian cuts inside onto his left, but his shot doesn’t dip in time to hit top bins.
HALF-TIME: Chelsea get us back underway. No changes for either team. Next goal should settle this one, if we can get it.
45+3min: Hazard one more time, this time laying it on for Higuaín, who takes one too many touches and the chance is gone. Huddersfield then finally get the half-time whistle before they could give up another one.
45+2min: Hazard feeling it now, drives forward through the center and is taken out at the top of the box, possibly in the box. No call this time, funnily enough.
45+1min: Hazard takes, Hazard ... SCORES! 2-0, CHELSEA!
45min: Azpilicueta drives forward, gets into the box, and Kachunga trips him right on the line. Tierney thinks about it for a minute, then gives the penalty!
42min: Hazard takes on five, keeps the ball, then turns back looking for support. Chelsea then play the ball out as another Huddersfield player picks up an injury. It’s Diakhaby, but he looks okay to carry on after a minute.
40min: Hazard drops deep to start Chelsea playing out from the back, which turns into a quick attack through Kanté, but Higuaín’s pass from the right is cut out.
38min: Chelsea combine well through the center before setting up Jorginho for a shot at top of the box, which is blocked by a trailing leg. Unlucky.
37min: Hazard drives forward, but leaves his pass short for Alonso. Huddersfield then cut out a square pass for Barkley, but Chelsea back in numbers to prevent the quick counter.
36min: But Chelsea give the ball away again and Diakhaby drives forward. David Luiz recovers to crowd him out alongside Alonso.
35min: Christensen blocks another shot, then cuts out a cross before Hazard draws a foul and the brief spell of pressure from the visitors is over.
33min: Higuaín wins a corner, Willian takes and David Luiz has a free header ... which he puts just wide of the far post.
32min: Hazard gives the ball away in a dangerous position and Huddersfield counter through Diakhaby on the right. A great cutback finds Billing, but his shot is blocked brilliantly by Christensen.
29min: Mooy crosses in, but Chelsea clear and try to counter through Hazard. His cross is blocked for a corner however, which is wasted as usual. David Luiz appeared to pick up another knock, but looks ok to carry on.
28min: Chelsea continue to control possession. David Luiz with a rare mis-hit long pass gets Huddersfield on the ball, and they win a foul in a decent crossing position out wide.
24min: Azpilicueta pumps one in from range but it’s a comfortable save for Lössl. Mbenza picks up an injury for the visitors and it’s not looking great for him. He appeared to twist something in a slide tackle and has to be taken off. Mounié coming on for him.
21min: Higuaín goes close with a disguised finish from an Alonso cross. Misses by just a foot.
18min: Chelsea almost double their lead by Barkley whiffs on his shot at the far post.
17min: GOAL!! CHELSEA! And it’s Higuaín! Another first-time shot from the striker, found on one of his typical inside runs by a fantastic pass from Kanté! 1-0, CHELSEA!!
14min: Hazard and Higuaín combine in the middle, and the latter sets up the former for a shot, but it’s blocked. Willian takes the corner and finds David Luiz on the curling run at the penalty spot, but his first-time shot flies well over.
12min: Nice combinations up the right wing opens up a cross from Kanté, but Schindler heads clear ahead of Higuaín. Hazard tries a long-range effort shortly after but it’s saved easily.
10min: Jorginho finds Higuaín with a chip over the top, and he takes it first-time on the turn but the defender gets in a great block. Willian then called marginally offside on the short corner.
8min: Willian puts in a great cross from the right but Higuaín just watches it rolls across the six-yard box as Sarri throws his arms in the air on the touchline in frustration.
7min: First Hazard, then Azpilicueta create potentially dangerous situation with balls in from out wide, but Huddersfield’s toes are in the right place at the right time.
6min: Huddersfield get the first chance of the game as Löwe fires in a cross and Mooy heads just over.
5min: Hazard gets us going forward before Barkley makes another good switch out wide right ... but Willian dallies on the ball and his cross is cut out.
2min: Barkley switches the ball out to the right, then runs onto a wayward pass back into the middle, but his 20-yard effort flies just wide of the left post.
1min: Higuaín gives the ball away and the visitors pour forward, but Chelsea recover well enough and win the ball back.
KICK-OFF: Huddersfield get us underway.
Chelsea have suffered back-to-back embarrassment in the Premier League, losing 2-0 to Arsenal then 4-0 to Bournemouth.
A third result like that in a row is simply unthinkable.
Let’s not find out what would happen if it were to happen.
