How should Chelsea line up against Ajax to take control of Champions League group?

Chelsea vs. Ajax Amsterdam, Champions League: You choose the starting lineup

No time to rest for Chelsea with a third game in seven days coming up tomorrow, at home against Ajax Amsterdam in the Champions League group stage. Chelsea’s 1-0 win in Amsterdam a fortnight ago vaulted us to the top of the group; another win against Ajax would solidify our position and put us firmly on course to be a top seed for the knockout round draw.

Greatly helpful towards that aim would be the return to full fitness of N’Golo Kante, and it looks like that might be the case as the midfielder trained fully today and Lampard confirmed that he is available for tomorrow. That said, given how well Jorginho and Kovacic have played as a duo lately, Lampard could opt to save Kante for the weekend, when Jorginho will be suspended due to yellow card accumulation.

In further good news, both Ross Barkley and Andreas Christensen participated in training as well, and could be available for selection tomorrow. The trio of injured players will all have to contend with match fitness issues of course.

Choose wisely.
