Accidents happen, and the football pitch is unfortunately ripe for those. That is most likely what happened with Tammy Abraham, whose awkward landing on José Gayá’s knees lead to his early exit.
The 22-year-old left the pitch, and he was unable to walk on his own while holding the left side of his abdomen. He was then stretchered out of the stadium by the medical staff on the field.

He was then substituted by Michy Batshuayi, who gets to face one of his former loan clubs from last season.
Either way, Abraham’s injury is a major worry — way beyond footballing matters. And so, we hope he gets well as soon as possible!
