Christian Pulisic, who has been in red-hot form as of late for Chelsea, is officially ruled out of international fixtures. He’s scored five goals in his last three Premier League games, finding himself in terrific form since the last international break.
The US Men’s National Team find themselves in must-win fixtures against Canada and Cuba to advance in CONCACAF Nations League. Losing Pulisic will make the job of coach Gregg Berhalter much harder.
“This was a collaborative decision with the club looking after the best interest of the player. These decisions are always difficult because this group and the coaching staff want nothing more than to have Christian here, but it was a risk we weren’t willing to take at this time.”

As Lampard revealed on Saturday, Pulisic picked up a hip injury against Crystal Palace. He was ready to come off already in fact before he scored his goal!
Hopefully Pulisic will have enough time off to rest and recover from his injury in the next two weeks!
