It wouldn’t really be an international break without an injury concern or two, and so it goes this time once again, as Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah were withdrawn from the England U21 squad today. While the rest of the team jetted off to Slovenia, the two Chelsea youngsters stayed behind and have returned to the club due to “fitness concerns”.

The initial reports say that the injury is not severe, but more diagnostics are needed to determine the full extent of the injury. Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher are the remaining members of the Chelsea contingent in the under-21 squad.
James had begun to feature in the Chelsea first-team as expected, while Trevoh has been nearly ever-present for Championship struggles Huddersfield Town.
Reece James injury isn't serious. He should be back training next week.

Here’s to hoping that neither injury is anything serious, and Rolls-Reece can continue his ascent to being the best right back in England!
