Chelsea’s injury concerns have now basically turned into a full-blown crisis, with the normally ever-present and ironclad Willian joining the list of hobbled and stricken in the Cobham treatment room after picking up an injury against Southampton on Wednesday.
To make up numbers in training, Chelsea have brought in a few familiar names from the reserves and the youth, including but not necessarily limited to Charlie Colkett (recalled early from a failed loan at Shrewsbury Town), Kyle Scott (recalled early from a decent enough loan at SC Telstar), Islam Feruz (still around!), and Ian Maatsen (16-year-old highly promising full back).
Chelsea first team back in training for a late session. The starters doing a recovery session. Others was outside training. (Yes that included the fit Callum Hudson-Odoi as well as Kyle Scott and Islam Feruz)

Whether any of those youngsters will be involved on matchday is another question of course, but with Willian, Pedro, Giroud (and Drinkwater and Moses) definitely missing and questions lingering over the fitness of Kovačić (who missed the midweek round) and Hudson-Odoi (who continues to work through a hamstring injury), there could be a few interesting names in tomorrow’s lineup.
