Our friend and WAGNH writer ‘wxwax’ has passed away

It is with great shock that I must tell you all that our friend and fellow blogger Sid Moore, known around SB Nation and WAGNH as ‘wxwax’ has passed away recently from a sudden heart attack.

This terrible news was relayed to me by Paul from ‘AdvRider’, another online community where Sid was an influential, very active, and highly respected member and writer. They have a wonderful tribute post to him on their front page.

Sid has been writing for WAGNH officially for almost a year, though he’s been a member of this community for far longer, since 2012. In our interactions online, in email, in the comments, and in chat, he was always intelligent, thoughtful, compassionate, and likable, and I’m terribly saddened to hear of his passing.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
