It’s a bit of a strange Transfer Deadline Day, with the deadline set at 5pm local time, meaning there are less than 12 hours of it left by the time this post goes live.
Chelsea looked to have done the vast majority of our business yesterday already, so now we just wait for official confirmation of the Kovacic loan, the Courtois sale, and possibly moves away for the likes of Zouma, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, and at least one of the strikers.
Of course, with transfer windows around Europe open for at least another week (Italy) or through the end of the month (Spain, Germany, etc.), we could be seeing outgoing moves well after the window slams shut.
In any case, grab the popcorn if you’ve got any left from yesterday.
