David Luiz excited by Chelsea’s transfer activity, ready to win it all again

It’s exciting times at Chelsea as the months of near non-activity have given way to sheer madness in the final days of the window.

One of the new faces is goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who became Chelsea's record signing in the process.

One person who is certainly excited by all that is David Luiz.

“He is a great keeper, that is why everybody is talking about him. The financial side - every club in the world spends money, not just Chelsea.

”The numbers don’t matter, we are happy because Chelsea are always doing the best for the club.

”When you play for Chelsea you have to think about titles, it doesn’t matter the name of the competition. We have to always try to win.

”That has to be the mentality of every single player when you play for a big club like Chelsea. We are going to fight for that.”

At the same time, Chelsea managed to hang on to both Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante, perhaps the best bit of business done all summer by the club.

Spiritual leader David Luiz concurs.

“It’s good news. I always say Chelsea have to keep their best players and if we keep them all it will be amazing for us.”
