Very happy Jorginho already settled and integrated at Chelsea, assures agent

It’s taken no time at all for Jorginho to settle at Chelsea, his agent has revealed in an interview on Radio CRC.

Moving from league to league isn’t always a straightforward transition for players — the game may be the same on some level, yet also quite different ... and that’s just the on-pitch considerations — but for the 26-year-old, all aspects of his €65m move from Naples to London are going swimmingly.

“Jorginho has started his adventure at Chelsea very well. He’s already integrated himself, plus he also speaks English well, so he’s not having any problems settling. When a player is good, he can play in any League. Stereotypes matter little. If a player has quality, they can make the grade anywhere.

“He’s very happy with how the match against Arsenal went.”

It’s probably helping that Jorginho gets to play the same exact system under the same exact head coach at Chelsea as at Napoli. It’s also helpful that he’s a key player in said system. But regardless of exact reason, having him settled and happy is obviously preferable to the opposite, especially as the Blues have plenty of other growing pains to contend with in the early days of Sarri-ball.
