There are too many to count Eden Hazard “funny moments” compilations on YouTube, but very few of them include any moments from the past 6-12 months. And that’s understandable. Stamford Bridge wasn’t the happiest place on Earth after all, and Hazard himself didn’t always cut his usual happy-go-lucky self. At the end of the season, he even dropped direct hints that he might consider leaving.
That obviously never happened, and he looks set to stay, despite continuing nonsense rumors of Real Madrid preparing €200m bids and whatnot — those will likely only take a break if he ever does sign his new contract, which hopefully will happen soon.
How happy is Hazard to stay? That’s tough to say. But if this brief video from earlier this week is any indication, he’s back to being carefree, wherever he may be. Even if that place is the training ground, where fitness coach Paolo Bertelli was the on the receiving end of a harmless little prank.
