Pep Guardiola a bit salty about Jorginho snubbing him in favor of Chelsea

Mmmm... salty

Salt is an important substance. It is essential to life. It preserves and flavors our food. It cleans our water. It enables the production of plastics and paper. It’s an electrolyte!

It’s also quite funny. Or can be, especially when it’s not you who’s salty but rather the manager of the champions of England, who was left standing at the altar by the man currently frolicking with Maurizio Sarri in Western Australia.

“No, I’m not disappointed.”

(Translation: Yes, I am disappointed.)

“We tried, but at the end all my advice for the players is that they have to go where they want to go. For the guy, it would have been a mistake for him and for us if he had decided to come here when he wanted to go with Maurizio and Chelsea.

”So it is important that English football has received an exceptional player and at the end if they want to come, it’s better they come.”

(Translation: Yes, I am very disappointed he chose someone else over me.)

”If he decides to go to Chelsea for the reasons he has explained or will explain, then all the best for him.”
