PREVIOUSLY:
It’s finally happening! Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho have both arrived in London according to reports in the English media. Whether the moves will be finalized today or not is unclear for now but things definitely seem to be moving in the right direction.
Am told #Sarri took a flight to London this morning and has arrived in the capital #cfc

Once Antonio Conte’s sacking was formalized, it was only a matter of when, rather than if, before the arrival of Jorginho and Maurizio Sarri would materialise, and it seems to finally be happening.
Sky’s report and the update by Simon Johnson certainly matches the update that was provided by Gazzetta Dello Sport, which stated that the player-manager duo were due to arrive in London today.
Maurizio Sarri is now free to fly to London today, with a compensation deal finally being struck with Napoli. Jorginho will also join.

If all goes to plan and Manchester City doesn’t try to pull a last-minute counter-gazump on our gazumping of their midfield target, this should be done soon.
Here’s hoping that Chelsea is able to finalize both moves as quickly as possible.
