FULL TIME: Chelsea draw. Huddersfield are safe; Chelsea disappoint.
89min: Loss finally cautioned for timewasting, then parries Morata’s shot.
83min: Christensen hits the post amid a mad scramble from Chelsea’s 9th corner. Amazing save from Lossl.
80min: Chelsea continue to push for a winner. Huddersfield hanging on.
74min: Attack vs. defense continues. How long can Huddersfield continue to hold out? Meanwhile, Spurs have taken the lead against Newcastle.
62min: Pressure pays off with a bit of luck as a Huddersfield clearance cannons into the net off of Alonso’s pretty face. We’ll take that!
59min: Hazard on, Pedro makes way. Chelsea push.
53min: Visitors make first change, Pritchard on for Van la Parra. Giroud then replaces Zappacosta as Chelsea go to 4-2-4.
50min: Huddersfield take the lead on their first shot of the game. Willian fouled/loses the ball, quick pass upfield, Depoitre beats/fouls Caballero, Rudiger slips, Depoitre scores.
49min: Rudiger misses another glorious chance, this time from a great Willian delivery from a free kick.
46min: No changes at half-time. Hazard, Giroud, Moses begin warming up.
HALF-TIME: Two minutes added-on, but nothing changes. A couple cute combinations don’t come off, then Pedro’s effort is blocked. Chelsea waste a free-kick, then Mason blows for half-time as Chelsea are about to take a corner. Stamford Bridge not happy.
41min: Kante wins the ball, slides in Morata but his touch takes him wide. The cutback finds nobody with the goal wide open but nobody gambling on the run. Chelsea’s second best chance of the half.
40min: The pattern holds. Frustration starting to build.
34min: Pedro wins a free kick in a good position, Fabregas delivers, Christensen misjudges the header.
30min: Morata fashions a chance from an awkward angle. Well saved. Fabregas with the service into the box.
28min: Pattern continues, now with extra chippiness in midfield. Chelsea not clicking at all.
21min: Kante trying to dribble through half their team. Unsuccessfully.
Kanté > 5 Huddersfield players

a stumble was the only reason he didn't keep the ball. what a player. pic.twitter.com/yevrwkQoNH
18min: Huddersfield already wasting time on throw-ins and free-kicks. Chelsea struggling to break them down.
12min: Rudiger misses the open net at the far post after Azpilicueta wins the header on Chelsea’s latest corner.
11min: Pedro wins Chelsea’s second corner. Willian takes, then tries his cross again after clearance. It curles wide, missing both Rudiger and Morata.
9min: After Alonso test the goalkeeper at his near post, Willian smashes one just wide of the far post. Pattern holds as the visitors defend deep and look to counter.
4min: All 11 Huddersfield players have been camped in their own defensive third as Chelsea maintain 90%+ possession.
KICK-OFF: Morata gets us underway.
Chelsea roll in with a season-best five-match winning streak but need another three points to close the gap to Liverpool to 0 points (we’re much worse off on goal difference unfortunately) and keep the gap to Spurs at 2 points heading into the final weekend.
Spurs kick-off at the top of the hour (15 minutes after Chelsea), so we’ll be keeping an eye on that as well.
It’s the final home game of the season (stay after for the lap of honor), let’s make it count!
COME ON, CHELSEA!
