WINNER WINNER TWO POINTS BEHIND SPURS DINNER

Not the greatest performance and certainly not the greatest conditions, but three points are three points and a win’s a win. And that means Chelsea are suddenly within just two points of Spurs in fourth, although they do have a game in hand, which they will play on Monday. But temporarily, there is pressure and you never know!

Chelsea certainly could’ve had more than the one early goal from Fàbregas, but poor finishing, wasted counter-attacks, and a bit of bad luck prevented that from happening. But hey, clean sheet!

Swansea really cranked up the pressure in the final 15 minutes,

Next up: Liverpool at home on Sunday.

Carefree.

  • Fàbregas’s goal the 50th of his career in the Premier League; the third Spanish player to hit that milestone (joining Torres, Costa). Becomes first non-British player with 50 goals and 100 assists in Premier League history (Rooney, Lampard, Giggs).
  • Another random performance from referee Jon Moss.
  • Third straight Premier League win for Chelsea. Hitting good form at a good time.
