Joining on loan at the end of January, Chelsea striker Michy Batsuayi had been enjoying the life at Borussia Dortmund. With the chance, the trust, and the confidence to play regular minutes, it took Michy no time at all to light the Bundesliga on fire with his goals.
And he’s continued to pay attention to Chelsea, too, in the meantime, always supporting the Blues on social media.

It was almost too good to be true.
Batshuayi and BVB were taking on Schalke 04 today in the massive local Revierderby, and not only did they lose 2-0 to their fellow top-four rivals, but Batshuayi also picked up what’s feared to be a rather serious ankle injury. There are even suggestions that it could be a broken ankle, which would most definitely rule Michy out for the rest of the season as well as the World Cup this summer.
Fears that his left ankle might be broken.

The injury occurred as a result of Benjamin Stambouli’s tackle, with Michy’s foot unfortunately getting stuck underneath the follow-through.
Borussia Dortmund boss Peter Stoger on Michy Batshuayi’s injury: "He is in great pain. It looked like he could be out for a long time. I hope it's not that bad." #BVB #CFC

This is why we can’t have nice things.
Hopefully it’s not as serious as feared...
