Five months. Twenty-four competitive games (so not including Sunday’s win over Brighton). Seventeen wins, five draws, two losses. More passes than we can count. And fifty goals scored.
That’s the record of Sarri-ball, as the Blues sit fourth in the ultra-competitive Premier League, are into the knockout stages of the Europa League, and area bout to contest the quarterfinals of the League Cup (with the FA Cup starting up for us in a couple weeks, too).
So far, so ... good-ish? Certainly could’ve been much worse. And while the team haven’t always espoused Sarrismo perfection on the pitch, we might be trying to build something nice for the future. We’ll of course have to wait and see how all this turns out. “Projects” tend to have sad endings in the SW6.
But for now, sit back and relax and enjoy a half-century of goals in ten minutes from the ever-excellent @CFCVideos.
