October was a pretty good month, with Chelsea keeping their unbeaten run going with routs of Southampton away and Burnley at home, and a tightly-matched affair against Manchester United in which we snatched a 2-2 draw in the final seconds at Bridge.
This form has been duly recognised by the Premier League by nominating coach Maurizio Sarri for the Premier League Manager of the Month award, for the second time in three months.

Up against him are Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe and Brighton’s Chris Hughton, all of whom managed to keep an unbeaten record in the Premier League in October, with Hughton’s 100 per cent record across three matches last month especially impressive. If you wish, you can vote for Sarri right here.
Also recognized is man of the moment, Ross Barkley, who was key to our Premier League efforts last month with three goals and three assists in three matches — contributing directly to two-thirds of the nine Premier League goals Chelsea scored in October. His magnificent form has earned him the nomination for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
