Community Player Ratings from Chelsea’s worst performance of the season (but still a win!)

1. OLIVIER GIROUD (7.3)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 48
Passes: 22/33
Shots: 2*/6
Fouls drawn: 2

Well, at least we no longer have to go to great pains to maintain the understanding that yes, Olivier does contribute in other ways than just goals.

2. KEPA ARRIZABALAGA(‘s post) (7.0)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 26
Passes: 21/22
Saves: 1
Woodwork saves: 3

Kepa’s woodwork probably should’ve been Man of the Match, making three tremendous saves on the night and ensuring Chelsea’s first clean sheet in three games and just second in six. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good!

3. Emerson (6.9)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 121
Passes: 75*/86
Shots: 0/2
Take-ons: 1/3
Fouls drawn: 3
Blocks+Tackles: 2+2

Chelsea were accomplishing little of note until Emerson swung in a cross and Giroud nodded it in. And then Chelsea went back to accomplishing even less.

Glad to be done with this game!
