It’s been almost 48 hours since Chelsea meandered their way to a 0-0 draw at Carrow Road and added a wholly unnecessary replay onto an already congested fixture list, and I still haven’t watched this game. At this point, it’s unlikely to happen even as it sits there on demand with a big shiny play button plastered all over it. Can’t even remember the last Chelsea game I missed like that, but you can’t fool me, big shiny play button! I have a pretty good idea what would await me.
With that in mind, let’s run briefly through the player ratings from the Norwich draw ... as well as the Arsenal draw, since I completely forgot about that one while all the Ross Barkley excitement (?) was going on.
Norwich 0-0 Chelsea: Player Ratings
With an average of 5.23, this game ranks as the fourth worst performance of the season, following Roma away, Palace away, and West Ham away.
EXCEPTIONAL (9.0+): —
EXCELLENT (8.0-8.9): —
GOOD (7.0-7.9): —
AVERAGE (6.0-6.9): Willian (6.3), Zappacosta (6.2), Sterling (6.2/sub), Rüdiger (6.1), Caballero (6.0)
POOR (5.0-5.9): Musonda Jr (5.9/sub), Cahill (5.4), Drinkwater (5.3), Morata (5.2/sub)
BAD (4.0-4.9): David Luiz (4.9), Pedro (4.4), Kenedy (4.4)
TERRIBLE (3.0-3.9): Bakayoko (3.6), Batshuayi (3.3)
So, Willian continues his streak of appearing in every game, bar the one against Nottingham Forest at the start of the League Cup. This is his fourth Man of the Match award, and fourth in his last eight starts.

Making up for the missed run-down, here’s a game where performances ran a pretty wide gamut.
EXCEPTIONAL (9.0+): —
EXCELLENT (8.0-8.9): Courtois (8.9), Alonso (8.2)
GOOD (7.0-7.9): Hazard (7.9), Zappacosta (7.6/sub), Christensen (7.5), Azpilicueta (7.4), Kanté (7.3), Fàbregas (7.2), Cahill (7.1)

This is Courtois’ highest rated game of the season and his third Man of the Match. He was also the Man of the Match in the 0-0 draw against the Gunners at the Bridge in the Premier League earlier this season!
