Chelsea 0-3 AFC Bournemouth, Premier League: Post-match reaction

Chelsea kept gifting opportunities to Bournemouth in the first half, and instead of cleaning up that act, we kept doing the same in the second-half. Too many midfield turnovers, too many players lost in defence. It was only a matter of time before Bournemouth made Chelsea pay.

And so they did.

And then they did again.

And then they did again.

Then they got away with a handball, too.

Bit shambolic any way you look at it.

There will be better days.

  • Christensen injury a huge blow. Chelsea back line all over the place after he was forced off.
  • Chelsea start in a 3-4-3, switch to a back 4 for the final 25 minutes with Hudson-Odoi replacing Zappacosta.
  • Lack of a proper center forward an issue all game.
  • Chelsea drop to fourth on goal-difference after Liverpool’s win yesterday
  • Manchester United lose to Spurs to keep 2nd-5th separated by just five points.
  • Next game: away to Watford on Monday
  • Nice to hear the “Antonio, Antonio” chant going strong however.
