In many newspapers across the United states, the Sunday edition brings an expanded comics section, including ones in full color. These are the Sunday funnies.
Perhaps inspired by such tradition, the Sunday Mirror saved this massive rumor-bomb for their Sunday funnies section.

Eden Hazard to Real Madrid PSG Manchester City for £150m.
Not sure whether to laugh, cry, or just turn off everything and go live in the woods where the only fake news you have concern yourselves with is what last night’s sunset tells you about tomorrow’s weather.
The man on the byline is Simon Mullock, “Chief Football Writer” for the Mirror and certified Manchester City fan. That perhaps lends some credence to this thing, or at least give a hint as to where it might be sourced from. (Presuming that he didn’t just make it up.) It certainly shouldn’t be coming from Hazard’s camp since unlike most of the big stars, he doesn’t operate with an agent, who would perhaps drop such stories to motivate contract negotiations with Chelsea along (right, JT?).
If nothing else, it’s a hilariously timed story considering that City are about to pay the £60m buyout for Aymeric Laporte, while Pep Guardiola had the cheek to point out just the other day that City are running their own version of an austerity program too, which is simply preventing him from winning a quadruple. Oh the horror! But no worries, they will pay Hazard £500k a week after dropping £150m on Abramovich’s doorstep.
LOL.
