WELCOME BACK, NFL!
I have something like 5 fantasy teams and plenty of excitement for this new NFL season. At least until I get frustrated with all the stupid penalties and unenforceable rules and the like.
But for now, it’s fun, especially after the shock of the opening game, which saw the defending champions Chelsea New England lose at home to Burnley Kansas City, 27-42. Granted, KC are probably better than Burnley, relatively speaking, but still...
Fun fact: Patriots are 81-0 when leading at halftime at Gillette Stadium in regular season.

Now 81-1.
42 points is the most ever scored by an opposing team against the #Patriots under Bill Belichick.

I’m no Patriots fan by any stretch of the imagination (other than rooting for Gronk to get some fantasy points), so this is pretty funny, but I fear it’s actually just the beginning of them turning it around and winning the next 15 games and then repeating as Super Bowl champions. Don’t make Tommy mad!

I combined the images of Hurricane Andrew (1992) & Hurricane Irma (today) at scale in a gif. Irma is a damn leviathan. pic.twitter.com/4HEw1NNxxd
