Low-key highlights from behind the scenes at Chelsea this week

This week has flown by and it’s Friday already, which means it’s time for the latest episode of Chelsea: Unseen. It’s a slightly more low-key edition, with plenty of the usual bits in finishing drills and keepy-uppies and rondos from training (which was also open to media for about 15 minutes ahead of the Atlético match, so Conte probably wasn’t working on anything match-specific and important just then).

With Chelsea jetting across England and Europe in the past seven days, the slightly mellower tone is perhaps understandable. Emphasis is on rest and recovery this week.

We do get a scene or two of Chelsea going on the traditional pre-match city walk in Madrid, plus training at the Metropolitano. And a few players signing autographs after the Stoke City match, which is always nice to see.

Love Álvaro Morata’s all black weekender bag (instead of a backpack or the usual rolly suitcases). That’s some classy style points right there.

Wonder what language Antonio Rüdiger speaks to Eden Hazard.

That’s all I got for this one.

Enjoy.
