A CLASSIC IN THE MAKING?

It has all the makings of an all-time classic. It also has all the makings of a rather dour affair. Major finals aren’t always the most likely occasions to serve up supreme entertainment. Fans of the two teams will not care about such things of course. They will want the trophy, even if for Real Madrid this is getting a bit of a regular occurrence.

Given Chelsea’s (and Conte’s ties) with Juventus, we will probably gravitate towards supporting The Old Lady come kick-off in Cardiff. Juan Cuadrado, whose loan move was recently made permanent will be hoping to do something that no other Chelsea player had a chance to do this season. G’wan, Johnny Squared!

Date / Time: Saturday, June 3, 2017, 19:45 BST; 2:45pm EDT
Venue: Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales, UK
Referee: Felix Brych — a familiar face during Chelsea’s 2012 run, refereeing the 4-1 over Napoli and the 1-0 over Barcelona, both at the Bridge. This will his seventh Real Madrid match; they have yet to lose.
On TV: BT Sport 2 (UK); FOX, FOX Deportes (USA)
Streaming online: BT Sport Live, including an official free stream from BT (UK); FOX Sports Go, FOX Soccer 2Go (USA)
