Abramovich, Conte celebrate as Chelsea beat Middlesbrough and close-in on Premier League title

Three goals, three points, and plenty of cheers at Stamford Bridge on Monday night as Chelsea took the penultimate step towards this year’s title. The 3-0 win over Middlesbrough was one of the season’s easiest, with one way traffic flowing all night towards poor Brad Guzan’s goal. The visitors were lucky to escape without a more embarrassing scoreline, though their relegation was confirmed just the same.

Meanwhile, even as Conte made sure to shake all the Boro players’ hands and even applaud the away support who made the long journey down from Middlesbrough on a Monday night, celebrations all around were breaking out. Be sure to watch this clip all the way to the end for Conte’s lovely gesture to the away fans.

Roman Abramovich, sitting in his usual seat in the owner’s box was enjoying himself throughout the match, waiting patiently to dive into the champagne on ice (and Bacardi!) behind him in his suite.
