I own and adore a pair of Blue Mo-Fis.  This is the upgraded iteration of that design, with a slightly refined look and planar magnetic technology.  Like the Mo-Fi, the Ella has a built-in amp.  (The Mo-Fi itself also got a second iteration, and is now called the Sadie).
