In preparation for what is sure to be a closely contested Chelsea Goal of the Year vote — voting for that annual award should begin soon on the official website — here are Chelsea’s 15 best goals scored so far this season, put together by Twitter must-follow @CFCvid. I’m not quite sure how we will ever choose the best however.
Chelsea have scored 95 goals already this season, four more than we scored all of last season despite having played in eleven fewer games so far (both totals include own goals). Just reducing them to 15 probably involved making several tough decisions.
The compilation is presented in three parts of five goals each, starting off with two excellent strikes against Leicester City in the FA Cup (DAVE! CESC!), Pedro doing his heel-turn and shot against Spurs, plus the first of several candidates on this list from Hazard, and Diego Costa scoring from outside the box.

Then we move on to Hazard’s beastmode against Arsenal, David Luiz’s sneaky free kick against Liverpool, Willian’s blast into the roof of the net against Stoke, a text-book counter against West Ham, and another heel-turn and shot, this time with his feet reversed, from Pedro.

The final five contain some of the more recent excellence in free kicks (Willian and Alonso), Matić’s wonderstrike, Pedro’s slightly less wondrous long-range effort against Swansea, and a goal that I had absolutely forgotten about from Diego Costa against WBA. Sorry, Diego!
