Sunday was an emotional roller coaster. That phrase is over-used quite a bit, but on this day at Stamford Bridge, it’s more than appropriate. On the fun side of things, you had the team celebrating a remarkable season by lifting the Premier League trophy and receiving their winners’ medals. On the other side, it was a little sad as Chelsea said goodbye to the one and only John Terry.
There are two separate videos we want to highlight that really capture the before and after of JT’s emotional day. The first is from Copa90. They put together a great piece on Terry reminiscing on some his best memories and what the club means to him. It’s a very raw look at what his emotions were leading up to his big sendoff.
The second video was produced by the club itself. It’s a brilliant overall look at JT’s farewell day. From walking into the stadium, to jogging out on the pitch, all the way to his emotional post-match speech, and everything in between.
THANK YOU JOHN!One final time. Thank you, John.

Ending the video is a classy message to all the Chelsea fans around the world:
“It’s really emotional for me. Words will honestly never be enough to thank the Chelsea fans. From day one when I signed as a 14-year-old, when I broke through at 17-18, captained the side at 21-22. To go on and do what I’ve done here. I promise you I couldn’t have done it without you all. So, honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart, everyone. I love you all. You’re my family and will be forever.”
