Eden Hazard’s impromptu presentation of the Premier League Golden Glove award to Thibaut Courtois made this perhaps the most fun post-match interview on Sunday. Sure, there were still all the usual sports cliches about sporting achievement and hard work and teamwork and future work, but at least Hazard jazzed it up a bit with a few of the usual Hazard smiles and winks and mannerisms. Carefree Hazard is the best Hazard, and his nonchalant answers are priceless.
“It was a good afternoon and a good season for all of us. It’s always good to win. We have another trophy to try to take next week, so we can celebrate with the fans but we have to be ready for the final, and if we win that it will have been a fantastic season.”
“Maybe it’s better (than when we won the title in 2014/15) because last season we didn’t play well and we proved to all of the fans that we are Chelsea, we have good players and we are champions.”

Champions indeed.
Meanwhile, Courtois, as business-like as ever, thanked his teammates for helping him get the most clean sheets in the league and rated his save against Sunderland’s Patrick van Aanholt as his best of the season.
“In a league like the Premier League it's very nice [to win the Golden Glove]. I am very proud of it. I have to thank all of the team, you don't do it alone. Of course there were key saves that kept a clean sheet but all of the team defended well, it was a great year for everybody."
