Chelsea 4-3 Watford, Premier League: Post-match reaction

A bit of a goalfest then, but a win nonetheless, number 29 on the season, which equals the current Premier League record held by, you guessed it, Chelsea from 2005 and 2006.

Silly defending, some great goals, 90 points for the season.

Job done by the B-side.

  • A goal by Terry on what could very well be his final start in a Chelsea shirt. But of course he scored; it’s only fitting.
  • Azpilicueta scores, too; every regular starter now has a Premier League goal
  • Batshuayi can’t stop scoring!
  • Fabregas wins it at the end, making yet another big impact from the substitutes bench.
  • Nice to see Kenedy, Chalobah, Ake getting starts. Aina off the bench, too! (RLC must have been injured.)
  • Watford’s game plan of foul foul foul familiar, but Chelsea perserve once again. Silly scenes at the end from the visitors.
  • Next up: final game of the season on Sunday, Sunderland at home. First against last.
  • Carefree.
