It’s taken AFC Bournemouth a few weeks to figure out how to play without Chelsea loanee (recallee?) Nathan Aké — winless in both January and February — but after losing six out of seven after the turn of the year, the Cherries have now gone five unbeaten, including away draws against Manchester United, Southampton, and Liverpool and home wins over West Ham United and Swansea City. As Antonio Conte likes to say and the Premier League likes to advertise, there are no easy games.
Chelsea are coming off of a most welcome win over Manchester City on Wednesday after shockingly dropping points last weekend. So not much time to rest — and on a personal note, thanks to the shifting time zones under my airplane, I’ve completely lost track of this game that’s kicking off in less than 24 hours.
The good news is that Victor Moses is back! And everyone else is available as usual.
Choose wisely.
