Didier Drogba may be off on an adventure in the Wild Wild (South)West at the moment, but he’s jokingly threatened to leave his new club, Phoenix Rising FC on a short-term loan to Chelsea at the end of next month just to face Arsenal in the FA Cup final.
Dear @PHXRisingFC I'll be off on loan with @ChelseaFC for two days 26/27th of May, just to make it 17/17 against #afc #IswearIBeBack #banter

Fortunately for Arsenal, it’s just banter from the Big Man, who will have a game to play that Saturday against LA Galaxy II and so won’t be able to add to the 16 goals he’s scored Arsenal in his career ... in just 16 games! The latest of those came just last year, with Drogba playing for MLS All-Stars and bundling one past his old teammate Petr Čech in the annual MLS All-Star game.
Arsenal Twitter had perhaps the most perfect reaction to it.

Drogba was also known as Chelsea’s Wembley-specialist, and while we did manage four goals against Spurs yesterday, perhaps he can send us some good vibes through his television set?
