Manchester United vs. Chelsea, Premier League: Half-time report

Chelsea have just not got going this evening, albeit the fact that little luck has swung in our favour since right before the game, when reports began to emerge of Thibaut Courtois' injury (which was apparently sustained while filming a basketball commerical, oh well). This meant that Asmir Begovic would make his first start of the season and under less than ideal circumstances, at that.

As if that weren't enough, Marcos Alonso was ruled out of the game after injuring himself in the pre-match warm-up, with Kurt Zouma drafted into the XI and Cesar Azpilicueta shunted out to wing-back; Dave played out a torrid 20 minutes at left-wing back before Conte asked his wing-backs to switch flanks.

Marcus Rashford, who surprisingly started up front instead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, put United ahead in front in dubious circumstances and has looked one of the best players on the pitch since. Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo have done their best yet again, to endear themselves to Chelsea fans. Diego Costa's behaviour (and his performance) has been almost as bad, though.

All in all, it's been a forgettable half of football. Here's hoping Conte works his magic at half-time. COME ON, CHELSEA!
