Mark Few is awesome.
Mark Few's career at Gonzaga is pretty remarkable. Might mess around and get a title here yet, too. pic.twitter.com/g6O2ZLxBhS

DAY 1:
Largely uneventful flight from SFO to LHR, though Virgin Atlantic's inflight Wi-Fi is not only overpriced, it's slooooooooow and it's metered. $22 for 150MB of data is ridiculous, even as I acknowledge the magic mystery of being able to surf the net while sitting in a steel composite tube 38000 feet in the air.
The 787 remains impressive, with the only caveat being noticeable engine wash/noise if you're sitting near the back like I was. Also, in-flight meals were crap with a capital K. But at the least the touchscreen entertainment system worked well and they had a great selection of mostly new movies.
Watched Deepwater Horizon, which was done well enough for a disaster movie. Finally got to watch The Girl with All the Gifts, which was a book I quite enjoyed — the movie was okay. Needed less focus on action, which really wasn't the point of the book. And I watched Captain Fantastic, for which Viggo Mortensen was nominated for an Academy Award, and, as it turns out, deservedly so. Really liked this one: the acting, the story, and the script all excellent.
We're off to Nice this morning. I hear it's nice. Ba-dum-tish.
Fun fact: I get to experience "spring forward" twice this year, since the UK/Europe switched clocks to daylight savings this weekend as well, two weeks after the US.
Also, I'm learning all about milk in your tea. WTF.
