According to a local report, Chelsea will be spending part of next summer in Singapore, playing preseason games against the likes of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
The games will be held as part of the 2017 edition of the International Champions Cup, the preseason tournament in which Chelsea have participated for several years now, but only in America and Europe. If true — and there’s little reason to doubt the veracity of this report — these will be the first ICC games that the club will have played in Asia.

While there are no dates set for the games yet — confirmation expected next week, according to the report — Chelsea have already confirmed another preseason friendly in the region last month, to be played against Arsenal in Beijing on July 22nd. There are also further rumors of the Blues traveling to Japan for a game or two as well.
Looks like we’ll be making this summer’s Tour of Asia is full featured and lengthy affair, which will no doubt delight the local fanbase (and challenge the rest of our sleeping schedules).
