The Daily Hilario: Happy Birthday, Chelsea Football Club!

Your daily dose of off-topic shenanigans.

HAPPY HAPPY:

One-hundred and twelve years ago today, March 10, Chelsea Football Club were founded in a pub across the road from a funny little place called Stamford Bridge.

Happy Birthday, old man.

In honor of the club's birthday, Chelsea Supporters Trust are raising money for a gravestone/marker for the grave of Jack Whitley, a former Chelsea player and the only one who's known to be buried in Brompton Cemetery next door to the stadium.  Donate here.

And don't forget, Chelsea U18s begin the second phase of U18 league play today against West Ham.  The four best teams from the North & South sections contest this mini-league, with each team playing each other just once.  Chelsea and Manchester City have been far and away the best teams so far, but you never know...

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN:

If you thought this was in the bag like Chelsea's Premier League title, think again.  There are new contenders, including a couple that have over 2000 votes already, I believe.

So, it's time to work work work, and pay great attention.  Vote here and vote often.  Thank you.

HIT IT VERY HARD

BANG!
