It's been a rather eventful seven days at Chelsea since Saturday's win over Brentford in the FA Cup, punctuated by the 24-hour madness of Transfer Deadline Day (which, I'm quite certain, is starting to extend into a 48-hour event).
While we didn't sign any new players, we did recall Nathan Aké and he makes a rather interesting brief appearance in this latest episode of Chelsea: Unseen, getting a bit of one-on-one coaching from Conte. We often hear of players talking about how Conte tells them exactly where he wants them to be on the pitch, and here I think we actually see that sort of micro-management in action.
Looks like this bit happens during a training ground match/exercise pitting older first-team players vs. younger development squad players and we see Pedro finish off a nice move for the oldies. Pedro's on fiyah!
Elsewhere, there's a glimpse of first-team training that was held at the Bridge after Saturday's win and a look behind the magic at the making of a Singha advertisement that apparently features a lot of bottle-flipping. Alonso's a natural. Plus, Gerrard meets JT for an interview ahead of Tuesday's game at Anfield and Jody Morris gets in on the action at youth training.
And then, there's Diego Costa and David Luiz ... and Nemanja Matić?
Another week down; bring on Arsenal!
