And now, David Luiz shows off the accuracy of his medium-range passing, much to the delight and amazement of Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

I can only surmise to guess that David Luiz was doing some recovery or rehab work in the pool area of the training ground — I didn’t see him in the brief shots of Tuesday’s training on Chelsea TV — before deciding to impress the youngster (and Nathan Ake, I think, who’s standing in the pool) with his foot-basketball accuracy. Swish! (Well, not really swish; it was hit a little too flat for swish.)
After visibly limping and wincing several times during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Burnley, David Luiz received his normal “injury management” from the medical staff, but he does have two weeks right now to make sure his knee is in good enough condition to get him through the rest of the season. We can probably even afford him to miss the Swansea match, in which case he has another almost 10 days to the West Ham match away on Monday night, the 6th of March.
