If you don’t have a Chelsea TV subscription, you’re missing out on perhaps the best Friday Night Live yet, featuring adorable Brazilian duo David Luiz and Willian, who have been friends since they were 8 years old.
The first part of the show was also streamed live on Facebook, so you can watch that for free, but the fun truly begins in the second part, which includes a Facetime with Kaká, question-time from teammates, a sing-along to Willian’s drumming, and the world’s worst table tennis match.
One of the challenges posed to them in the second-half of the show was to call the most famous person in their phone. Willian went for Neymar, who apparently was flying somewhere at the time and so couldn’t answer. David Luiz went for Kaká, who initially ignored the call but then texted back and then this magic of modern technology happened.
It wasn’t all just fun and games of course. Willian talked a bit about his dream of playing for Chelsea (and thus rejecting Spurs at the last minute) and what it felt like winning the Premier League while David Luiz talked about using his position as a football player for doing good in the community, especially with kids, and also reflected on practicing for his penalty kick in the Champions League final.
And there was much more, but really, you should just watch it because it’s a smile-a-minute when these two are on the screen.
