1. EDEN HAZARD (8.6)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 68
Passes: 31/42
Shots: 0/2
Take-ons: 8/13
Fouls drawn: 2

Eden Hazard wasn’t expected to win the 2017 Ballon d’Or, but placing 19th sure seems a bit strange for someone who was arguably the best player in the Premier League last season (teammate and winner of the league’s best player award, N’Golo Kanté finished 8th). Then again, has the Ballon d’Or ever been anything other than a popularity (or worse, a political) contest? The rise of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the two undisputed best players in the world made it seem otherwise, but you don’t have to look further than Buffon’s fourth place recognition that it’s as much a political and sentimental event as any subjective player ratings.

In any case, Hazard continues his great form this season, winning his 7th Man of the Match award in 14 starts.

2. PEDRO (7.6)

Minutes: 27
Touches: 23
Passes: 10/15
Shots: 0/1
Take-ons: 3/4

I don’t know, but this video was great.

Minutes: 90

Speaking of great videos, here’s one from Chelsea TV on the rise of Christensen.
