After a near-perfect November, Chelsea have had two of their own nominated for the Premier League’s monthly awards.
Eden Hazard is one of seven players up for the honor of top player for the month. His two goals and one assist during the month just scratch the surface of how influential he’s been in Chelsea’s success, however the low statistical output likely makes him a big underdog in the voting.
Mohamed Salah is considered heavy favorite by many, especially after already taking home the PFA Fan’s Player of the Month award. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Robbie Brady (Burnley), Shkodran Mustafi (Arsenal) and Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) round out the list of nominees.
Antonio Conte, who is up for Manager of the Month, has a more realistic chance of winning an award. The club went unbeaten in the league during the month, conceding only one goal in the process.
Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Arsene Wenger (Arsenal), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Sean Dyche (Burnley) and Jose Mourinho (Manchester United) are the other finalists.
