Two of Chelsea’s best traditions come around Christmas time as the club (including the players) host a party for junior members (i.e. BridgeKids), and also visit the local Chelsea & Westminster Hospital to spend a few hours with the children there. In the age of global brands and commercialization, these activities remain a most important part of staying true to the local community as well.
During the BridgeKids Christmas Party, with host Rachel Stringer and Soccer AM’s Tubes, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois took part in a mild version of “Impractical Jokers”, taking turns in completing the jokey requests from a couple lucky kids as well as each other. Courtois singing ‘Antonio, Antonio’ was pretty good. This video has been released on YouTube and can be seen at the top.
Video of the actual BridgeKids party (which took place a couple weeks ago) has not been put up on YouTube yet, but is available on the official Chelsea Facebook page as of a few days ago. David Luiz was of course a big hit as as always.
