A WEIRD WIN!

Chelsea are through to the semifinals of the Carabao Cup after narrowly defeating Bournemouth, 2-1.

A tremendously worked team goal finished off by Willian got things off on the right foot. The Blues looked set to run away with the match after dominating the first half. However, a 90th minute equalizer from Dan Gosling put the result in doubt. Thankfully, second half sub Alvaro Morata came to the rescue to win it just after.

  • After an inauspicious start for Ampadu that saw him pick up a yellow card two minutes into the match, the 17-year-old looked like he belonged on the big stage. He was strong on the ball and confident with his distribution.

  • Bournemouth were strangely dominant for nearly all of the second half.
  • Jordon Ibe was a handful for the Chelsea defenders on several occasions.
  • THANK YOU, ALVARO.
