1. WILLIAN (8.5)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 56
Passes: 31**/39
Shots: 1*/2
Take-ons: 3/4
Tackles+INTs: 3
Solid ratings across the board in this one, with most starters rated in a narrow band from about 7-to-7.5. The one obvious standout was Willian, making just his third start in two months — though in classic Willian fashion these days, he’s made a substitute appearance in all the other games during that time. But as good and useful as Willian can be off the bench, his last few starts have seen standout performances from him, and he’s certainly making a claim for more minutes with them.
2. EDEN HAZARD (8.1)
Minutes: 67
Touches: 49
Passes: 24/34
Shots: 1/1
Take-ons: 3/4
Fouls drawn: 5
Hazard doesn’t have to worry about staking claims, though in fairness, he’s been playing quite well. Today was no different, even if he basically shut it down after 3-0. Center forward may not be his ideal position, but he made it work.
3. TIEMOUÉ BAKAYOKO (7.7)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 82
Passes: 59/63
Shots: 1*/3
Tackles+INTs: 5
Clearances: 2
Redemption for Timmy with the goal and a generally improved performance and midfield presence. Conte said it was his best in a Chelsea shirt yet, and the player ratings do not make a strong argument against that. More of the same, please!
