Huddersfield 1-3 Chelsea, Tunnel cam: Christensen waits patiently for shirt swap with fellow Danish defender

Chelsea TV continue to churn out the Tunnel Cam videos and thus continue to make all of us who’ve been calling for these for the last few years very happy. That they do them for the away games as well, which I want to say is fairly unique even in the world of tunnel cams, is the icing on top of it all.

So here’s the behind the scenes look for the trip up to Huddersfield, which shows much better than any of the TV images did just how poor the weather conditions were, in addition to following the players through arrivals, warm-ups, post-match, and departures. The fan reaction shots to the goals and the chants — including the classic “Champions of England, we’ll sign it til May” — are also great.

But it’s the small moments that truly make tunnel cam videos worthwhile, whether it’s Courtois chatting with fellow Belgian (and scorer of Huddersfield’s consolation goal) Laurent Depoitre, or young Andreas Christensen waiting patiently outside of the home dressing room to exchange shirts with international teammate Mathias Jørgensen (a.k.a. Zanka, as in the movie Cool Runnings).

And, if you missed it in the rush to get from Saturday’s game to Tuesday’s, here is the tunnel cam from the 1-0 loss to West Ham.
