In this series, I will use FIFA 18 to simulate as well as play the next Chelsea FC match -- with the difficulty on the highest level, because much like Chelsea FC, I occasionally like to make things difficult on myself for no reason whatsoever.
The winter cluster of a schedule is in full swing with a midweek Premier League fixture. After a 1-1 draw with Liverpool, Chelsea welcome Swansea City to Stamford Bridge.
My shot at glory (with commentary):
There very well could be quite a bit of rotation for the lineup. It's tough to predict who Antonio Conte will rest exactly, so instead of guessing I'm going with Chelsea’s best lineup that’s available.
For the starting lineup I have the following to take on the Swans:
Courtois | Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta | Alonso, Kante, Cesc, Bakayoko, Moses | Hazard, Morata
For the record, after I recoreded this I made sure to look up and find that Tammy Abraham is indeed on loan. The confusion of the loan army strikes again.
The simulated lineup is the same as above. Chelsea were dominant in the opening minutes of the simulation andd made things look easy. Let’s hope the real game goes just as well.
