Willian the Brillian celebrated his 200th Chelsea appearance with a sensational brace in the Champions League against Qarabag on Wednesday. The two-goal performance (plus two penalties won for a hand in each of Cheslea’s four goals) helped the club clinch a spot in the Round of 16. In honor of the Brazilian’s milestone, the 90th player in club history to reach this landmark, Chelsea’s video department edited together a nice little montage of a few of his best moments for the Blues.
While it’s not completely packed with highlights, it does show off some of the more memorable moments we’ve seen from Willian throughout his five-plus seasons at Stamford Bridge. From unstoppable laser beam strikes to expertly-placed free kicks, he sure scored some truly great goals.
Before the arrival of Marcos Alonso, it was Willian who made a habit of scoring with seemingly every free kick. He may have his frustrating streaks, but he’s proven time and time again that he’s a joy to watch play.
