WATCH: Chelsea mark Conte’s 50th Premier League game with video tribute to last season

Take a walk down memory lane...

Saturday’s game was Antonio Conte’s 50th Premier League game in charge of Chelsea. His record of 38 wins and 4 draws, that is 118 points, is the best in the league during that time. (In various cup competitions, his record is 11 wins, 2 draws from 16 games, with the Community Shield shootout loss against Arsenal counted as a draw.)

In any case, to mark Conte reaching this milestone, Chelsea TV have made their previously paywalled and website-only feature video about Conte reflecting on and talking through last year’s title win freely available on YouTube. So if you haven’t seen, or even if you have when it was first released at the end of last season, it’s time to set aside 20 or so minutes and listen to the man talk about his first year in England and re-live Chelsea’s historic 2016-17 Premier League title win (lest we forget, we did set a new record with 30 wins for a single season).

Here’s to the next 50!

P.S.: I never miss an excuse to share the following video, which remains my favorite, most evocative look at the 2016-17 season from the excellent @ShpendZhubi.
