1. EDEN HAZARD (9.5)

Minutes: 70
Passes: 33/41
Shots: 4**/4
Take-ons: 7/9
Fouls drawn: 1 — LOL!

Hazard continued his excellent form from October, showing no adverse affects from the two-week international break and associated extra dose of kicks and bruises received. In fact, he battled through a fairly significant knock in this one, too, after a Gareth Barry reducer that wasn’t even awarded with a foul. Unfortunately for Barry & Co, that knock only made Hazard angry.

You do not want to make Eden Hazard angry.

Minutes: 90
Touches: 35
Passes: 14*/18
Shots: 2*/3
Take-ons: 2/4
Fouls drawn: 2

It’s an arbitrary sample, but Morata has now scored (8) or assisted (4) more goals in his first 11 Premier League games than any other player in Chelsea history, and as trivial as that stat may be, it’s worth celebrating.

So far so good for the club’s record signing.

Orchestrating the Hazard-Morata show was Cesc Fàbregas who continues his streak of not only playing in almost every single game, but starting the vast majority of them. In fact, the only game he didn’t play in was the one he was suspended for (Spurs at Wembley) and he’s started all but two of the remaining 18. As one of the two deeper midfielders in the 3-5-2, alongside Kanté, that Pirlo-esque trend just might continue.

STARTERS: Courtois (7.2), Cahill (7.3), Christensen (7.9), Azpilicueta (7.7), Alonso (7.9), Fàbregas (8.5), Kanté (7.9), Bakayoko (7.2), Zappacosta (7.1), Hazard (9.5), Morata (8.9)

SUBSTITUTES: Drinkwater (6.7), Pedro (6.5), Willian (6.2)
